Andrew Lefkowitz is a Cleveland, Ohio, entrepreneur who guided a next-generation startup focused on biological alternatives to chemicals from 2017 to 2024. His former firm takes renewable agricultural resources and transforms them into sustainable ingredients used by a number of industries, ranging from energy to mining. Andrew Lefkowitz successfully guided efforts to raise significant venture capital and participated in the filing of more than 1,000 patents.
Mr. Lefkowitz previously guided Ganeden Biotech as CEO, delivering over-the-counter products to retail customers and licensees worldwide. Possessing a background as attorney, he retained and supervised the counsel that helped ensure Federal Trade Commission and Federal Drug Administration compliance. He also oversaw a team that published nearly 30 clinical studies in respected journals and was co-inventor on around two dozen patent applications.
